Not yet! Not yet! I've got a story!
This one came about in a dream....came about because Marc Bolan was a good friend of mine,
from T.Rex...yeah, God bless him!.
And he came for dinner one night and Marc was just an energized guy, full of it...
Anyway, came for dinner, or hanging out, sit around, and he used to speak like "ooh back off boogaloo", "ooyoo booboo"
was all that "back off boogaloo"
"Do you want some potatoes?"
"ooboo boogaloo!"
And..ha, ha, so, you know, he left and I went to bed that night, you know, you're getting to that like weird zone
when you're not quite asleep and you're not really awake and this thing started coming from like the back of my...
I was singing "back off boogaloo, I said, back off boogaloo, I said, back off boogaloo"
This is without drugs! Ha! ha!
And...so I gotta get up, I gotta get up and put this, this bit down, you know, I really loved it, but the problem was that
I ran downstairs to put it on on a taperecorder and every damn taperecorder was broken, no batteries,
I had no batteries, the real ones, you know, it was just a mess.
But the worst thing that was happening, as I was trying to keep that melody in my mind.."back off boogaloo"
something was really going weird because it was turning into (hums "Mack The Knife")
I said "No! No! Not Mack The Knife! No!"
I was like "Back off Boogaloo"...where's the tape?
So anyway, I stole batteries from the kids toys and in the end I got it down. Ha, ha!
I said, back off Boogaloo,
